but I disagree. The drinking age *isn't* a big deal in Europe. It's *16* there. The drinking age being 21 makes alcoholics. It puts a big emphasis on being 21. It places emphasis on drinking and the legalities of it. If it's lowered people are going to be exposed to it younger, and not have as many issues because of alcohol.
The driving laws I have issues with. Why do we let our kids drive so young. 14 year olds are *not* in any sense of the word mature enough to handle a car. 16 year olds should *not* be able to have passengers if we are going to let them drive. *I* was fine. But I also grew up driving snowmobiles, 4-wheelers, go-karts etc. And if we lower the drinking age we need to be harsher on our driving laws.

i did a super long ass research paper about it in highschool. I don't see why, since it's not an issue in Europe it would be here.
